Hi All,
I have got a sound knowledge on IBM MQ and IIB. But now I want to learn DataPower and should start working on it. I have hardly got only one week to do that. I have gone through the basics and a few videos but I want to have hands on experience before starting. I know that DP is an appliance and it cannot be installed for practice. But is there any way where in I could do so?
I don't think DP is an appliance any more. I think it's a vm image?
Also, if your employer is putting you in this position where you are (I'm guessing) having to learn a product in one week so you can help customers with it ...
Then you should find a new employer... _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx /

It's both. Or our IBM sales people have done a storming job selling us some empty metal boxes to put in the racks. But I don't believe that, even as a VM image, there's a trial / developer version.

How long did it take you to acquire this sound knowledge of yours in MQ & IIB? At what point into that process were you in a position to be productive and of assistance to customers? I'll bet it was longer than a week. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
