- The listener has not been started on the remote system.
- The connection name in the client channel definition is incorrect.
- The network is currently unavailable.
- A firewall blocking the port, or protocol-specific traffic.
- The security call initializing the WebSphere® MQ client is blocked by a security exit on the SVRCONN channel at the server.
On the basis you said MQ Explorer could connect to the queue manager then I assume the first four do not apply. Ie I assume the MQ explorer is running on the client machine similar to the Toolkit.
The Toolkit indirectly uses a java MQ client to connect to the brokers remote queue manager (through the CMP).
Did you use a .broker file to define the connection in the Toolkit. If so can you share the contents.
Or did you define the remote connection in the Toolkit? If so, what did you specify for your connection, SVRCONN, Security Exit and SSL information? _________________ Regards
