In my startup script, I have

/opt/mq8/bin/strmqm QM.EC1.1
/opt/mq8/bin/strmqcsv QM.EC1.1

And it is running:

dspmqcsv QM.EC1.1
WebSphere MQ Command Server Status . . : Running

But I notice we don't even try to stop it in our stop scripts:

/opt/mq8/bin/endmqm QM.EC1.1
(no endmqcsv !)

So do I even need this start command in my startup script?

Never mind. I got it. All of our QMs are configured for:

SCMDSERV(QMGR)

So no need to issue that manual strmqcsv command.
