Hi ,
I have a problem with the File input node.i am trying with simple Flow i have (File input -> compute node -> FileOutput )When i deploy the flow then files are not processing.What i have observed that mqsitransitin sub directory is not creating under the file input folder.IIB 9 th version and on windows i am using.I also set the environment variable to MQSI_FILENODES_ROOT_DIRECTORY .Please help me.

Then the FileInput node doesn't believe that's the folder it should be reading from, or doesn't have the necessary access rights to that folder.

Check that you're ending up in the place you're wanting to be ending up in given the combination of node settings and environment variables settings, then check that the broker has the needed rights to that location.

Thanks Victor for the reply.

I have provided full permissions to that folder.Few weeks back i tried on different folder that time it worked.Now i used the same folder but still i am unable to process .

No, what I meant is what have you done in the period between it working and it not - change to the flow, redeploy of the flow, that sort of thing.

Hi Victor,
When i redeploy the old application (i.e working privoiusly few weeks back) then it is working.When i try with the new application then it is not working.i checked File input node properties all are same.

Then it's obviously working......

If you can deploy the old version to the same broker environment and it works, then that rules out a problem with the environment and leaves you with a problem with your application.

Question - you said in your original post that you'd observed there was no mqsitransitin folder as a child of the target directory. What happened to the one the old version of your application created when it was working?

Hi vitor,
sorry file input directories are different in both applications.
So now i created a new folder and i used that folder with the failed application.Now its working .I think problem is with the input directory.
