Hello...i am using MQ V.8.... i defined a serverconn channel TEST...
DEFINE CHANNEL(TEST) CHLTYPE(SVRCONN) TRPTYPE(TCP) DESCR('Server-connection to test') SSLCAUTH(OPTIONAL).
When i try to start the serverconn channel TEST then below is the error ia m getting from queue manager logs:-
AMQ9520: Channel not defined remotely.
EXPLANATION:
There is no definition of channel 'TEST.P2P' at the remote location.
ACTION:
Add an appropriate definition to the remote hosts list of defined channels and
retry the operation. The remote host is '10.X.X.X(1414)'.
I do not know what is this IP in error. My MQ server IP and from where i am trying to access (ThroughRFHUTI)Lthe serverconn channel is also differnt
Also, at the client system on rfhutil i am using TEST/TCP/Mqserver IP(1414)
Am i missing something? i am just trying to access the queuemager objects from serverconn channel... |

On the qmgr, DISPLAY CHL(TEST*). Post the results here.

How do you try to start the channel? Exactly what command are you trying? If the channel is TEST, why is it trying channel TEST.P2P?

What do you mean by using TEST/TCP/Mqserver IP(1414)?
Please use MQ technical terminology when you post. There is no 'using.' There is no 'trying'. Please post commands you type, and the responses from those commands. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

As you seem to be using 10.x.x.x Networks you don't have to obfuscate them in your posts because these are NEVER routed outside your network and onto the internet.
Some screenshots/capture of the exact commands you are using would be really helpful. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
