It's been my experience that POTs/POCs can be performed on customer premises.

Yes, I tried the same on both appliances. now both HA qmgrs run on either of the appliance. So I'm unable to bring each to its preferred device.


Sounds like you have a single hagrp for both qmgrs. You should have each qmgr in its own hagrp, so you could manually push the grp to the preferred server... without affecting other qmgrs.
