Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone had the same issue as what I have experience and shed some light

So we have done the setup with no issues as it is straight forward. I have setup all the queues and process that it requires.

I was able to run the trigger as per the event logs but it does NOT off load the message and does not generate the file,

but if I run the script manually on the client server it does off load and generate a file.

Please find below further information that you might need to eyeball for me on what I have done wrong or missed.

Regards,
Zaldy

Hi.

First thing to do is make sure you have the latest build:
https://github.com/ibm-messaging/mq-trigger-monitor-windows

Then make sure that the user that is running the trigger monitor has access to the script to execute it. Use windows contact admin to become the relevant user. Also make sure that it has access to any scripts that the triggered script calls.

This is the likely cause of your issue. MA7K launches the relevant program, but can't really tell if it fails inside the script. It only works when the script returns non-zero return codes.

Thirdly, if that doesn't work, contact the maintainer by email. The address should be in the readme.

Also, you probably want to go through your post and edit/change/remove anything that could be sensitive information about the company you work for...

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the reply... this is what I find strange given that the user id that I'm using is an administrator on the box and part of the mqm local group.

I'll revisit the securities that are in place.

Thanks again for the input.

Zaldy
