Hi All,

Some brief explanation audit failed issue in IBM Integration Bus


I have tried to capture audit logs for AIX environment existing WebSphere Transformation Extender compiled maps from IBM Integration Bus.

I observed two scenarios when we are able to override map settings from WTX node and when it is failing to override.

For this requirement I have designed generic framework to process the different maps based on application request type.

Success scenario :

In this requirement we need to refer compiled object from AIX environment. So If we refer same complied objects from WTX node for both “Local compiled map(Windows environment)” and “server location map(AIX environment)” then we are able to capture audit logs successfully.

Failure scenario :

To make generic framework, for WTX node I have referred one dummy local compiled object for “Local compiled map” property, which was built in toolkit located platform(In current scenario Windows is local environment) and second property i.e. “Map server location” for that we are referring AIX environment maps.

If we refer the maps like the same audit is failed to populate and In both the scenarios we are setting WTX node settings are
Audit is set to “ON”
Audit location “Memory”
Size “ON”


Can anyone please advise ?
