Hi,
I was working on a POC to leverage the LDAP security for our MQ v8 setup but here is where i am stuck at.
The LDAP configuration under AUTHINFO needs to be mentioned in the CONNAUTH parameter of the Queue manager but in this case it can only accept ONE BASEDN ?
Our infrastructure has multiple distinguished names for different LOBs and this can be a problem. Any insights? |

The basedn is the root under which to find all DNs.
if all of your LOB dns are not under a common subtree, then your BASEDN needs to be the root of your LDAP tree.
If you have multiple LDAP trees, then you need to discuss this with IBM directly. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

<Vendor_Plug>
Or you can have a look at MQAUSX which supports multiple BaseDNs using the "|" (bar) symbol.
Code: |
LDAPBaseDN = dc=capitalware,dc=org | dc=capitalware,dc=net | dc=capitalware,dc=com |
Food for thought.
