Examine the MQMD of the message(s) in question. Check the field PutApplName to determine the name of the putting application. If this is why you wanted to know the channel name (i.e. because you wanted to know which application put the message) then stop, else look through your documentation to see which channel was assigned to that application to find the channel name.

You do of course have both channel security to ensure only the assigned application can use a given channel, and documentation recording which channel was assigned to which application, don't you?

The Application Activity Trace is an option, too.
