I have an activity in process flow in which the priority is set from one of the fields in the data structure (available in "control" tab).

Now when the activity is initiated, the priority is set correctly to say "2". Also the WorkItem.priority() returns 2.

Now I check out the WI, update the data structure field for priority to "3" and check-in the workitem. The exit condition is NOT satisfied as the task is NOT complete.

I have a data loop connector for this activity as any changes to out container must be reflected in in-container.

Now when I get the priority for this workitem, I still get "2" whereas the container element has been updated to "3".

Am I doing something wrong ?

If what you say is all you have done, then indeed you are doing something wrong.

First you must set the priority to be taken "From the input container" If you don't do this it will never work. Based on your description, I am assuming that you have the priority set to a "hard coded" number in Buildtime... Not to one of the container options. Once you have this set, don't forget to map it on your data loop connector

Second... Check the IBM service, I think that even if you get this right, the Worklist might show the wrong value, (NOTE that the API call will show the correct value). This was corrected in a recent service pack... SP2 I think, but not positive

No the priority is being set from the predefined member, ie. I am using _ACTIVITY_INFO.Priority. The connectors are working fine as I can see that the updated value is reflected corectly but still the API doesn't returns the updated priority value.

I tried finding the service pack but failed.

Can you pls send me the URL from where I can download the service pack.

Thanks much..

okay, I found it. It is a bug and they have fixed it in V3.3 Service Pack 2.

As of now I am using V3.2.2.

Need to figure out, if this is also fixed in some service pack. Any idea?

Well I don't think its fixed in 322, you will need to migrate to v330... This is especially important if you are using the WebCient.
