I have a standalone Java application which is reading messages using the straight MQ interface. We've had configuration issues with applications forgetting to specify NON-JMS in their CDDT files and the messages come to us with JMS headers which causes a big headache because we cannot handle the headers.

Is there anything I can do to be able to handle (ie: ignore) the JMS headers? I'm using the 7.5.0.3 client jars and connecting to a 7.5 QMgr.

Have you tried the MQGMO properties in handle?
MQConstants.MQGMO_PROPERTIES_IN_HANDLE
