Hello ,

Exploring IMA - IBM Messaging Sight - v1.2 for the last few days , as we are setting up infrastructure for upcoming project.

Currently am stuck with Configuring automatic log transfers .

Here is the command i tried : imaserver create LogAutoTransfer "Destination=scp://x.x.x.x" "Port=22" "UserID=xxx" "Password=xxx" "Enabled=True"

I see files being created at home directory of the UserID=xxx, but file size is alway 0.

need your help here ,to figure out what could be the reason.

Thank you

Is there a way : i can specify file path for "Destination" attribute ?

ie
imaserver create LogAutoTransfer "Destination=scp://x.x.x.x/tmp" "Port=22" "UserID=xxx" "Password=xxx" "Enabled=True" ?

when i test connectivity with this Destination .. it fails.

imaserver test LogAutoTransfer "Destination=scp://x.x.x.x/tmp" "Port=22" "UserID=******" "Password=******"

Check your scp command invocation... It doesn't look right to me.

What is the fixpack/build number of the IMA server you're running?

What is the value of your LogLevel, and the LogLevels for individual components... ?

IBM MessageSight version is 1.2.0.1 20150508-2119

LogLevel is set to MAX for all log file types :

imaserver-default
ConnectionLog
SecurityLog
AdminLog
MQConnectivityLog

Try stopping the IMA server, and starting it again.

It seems like all the obvious things have been tried, unless you can see any errors or failures on the server you're trying to send logs to.

So you should open a PMR.
