I am just starting with MQ8 MQFT. I am using MQ8 Info Center for information on how to get started and I followed the introduction scenarios to develop a basic agent<-->agent transfer using a hub/spoke topology. In this scenario, there is no command QM, no coordination QM, just the hubQM.
I continued with a server to server config (agent on Windows 7, and agent on hubQM (Centos VM) - again, only QM in the configuration is hubQM. All my developed prototypes use the hub/spoke topology and were implemented with just 1 qmgr (hubQM). I have a couple of questions: Will the hubQM provide the same functionality as the coordination QM? Apparently the hubQM also functions as a command QM. Will the hubQM function adequately as a command QM? FYI, I created the hubQM using the createHub script in /opt/mqm/mqft/samples/scripts
Another question: do you happen to know if MQ8 MQFT is separately licensed? I'm hoping that it is now covered by the MQ8 license.
