hi team,
i am installing mq explorer on windows 7 enterprise 32 bit.
first time i installed mq 7.01 and mb 8.
but both got unistalled unexpectedly for uniexpected shutdown of my desktop.
once again i trying to install mq, but error pops up.
can not proceed as installed product has no associated MQ installation name (AMQ4778).
plz suggest.

Uninstall both and start over. Once uninstalled, check the registry of leftover entries and delete those. Might want to save your registry before you change it...

I found the Microsoft fix it application which is a great help in clearing registry entries if like me you have a locked down registry.

It found old entries for MQ7.5, which it successfully removed.
