i am new to MQ can any one tell me how many ways to start a QMGR?

This seems an odd question. Are you asking how many actual commands there are or how many different combinations of starting parameters. The answer also depends on the platform. However, assuming you are talking Distributed platforms there is essentially the 'strmqm' command. But it has various command flags and can, of course, be started many different ways via scripts etc.
