I am trying to integration IIB with RTC 5.2. As per IBM suggestion we need to install IIB toolkit and RTC in the same package through IBM Installation manager, but the application doesn't allow this.
If we install both product in different package is there any way to integrate it.
Please point me to any available links/plugins available.

Open a PMR and work through it. It's the only supported way.

Presumably RTC 5.2 doesn't run in the same Eclipse level as your IIB toolkit.

Even if it does, there's no reason to complain that it installs in a separate package group.

After you have installed RTC, you can then create a link from the RTC Eclipse components in the IIB Toolkit directory.

Unless, of course, RTC 5.2 requires a newer Eclipse level.

Find out what version of Eclipse is being used by RTC 5.2

Find out what version of Eclipse is being used by your IIB Toolkit.

If the first is higher than the second, you probably can't use your RTC directly in your Toolkit.

If the first is not significantly higher, nor significantly lower (extremely unlikely), then you *can* use RTC in your IIB Toolkit.

Even if they are installed in separate Installation Manager packages.

All you have to do is link the RTC plugins and features into your Toolkit Eclipse.
