Hello,
i am using 3 Phy M/c in my Vmware and want to setup multiinstance so in 1st shared server i m facing issue while mounting so
[root at oel6.5 ~]# showmount -e
clnt_create: RPC: Unknown host
What may be the reason and what r the steps to resolve it.?
Pls Reply with all steps as i m new to MQ and linux
before to that what steps i did like as root :
mkdir /MQEXPORT
cd EXPORT
mkdir logs
mkdir qmgrs
chown -R mqm:mqm /MQEXPORT
chown -R ug+rwx /MQEXPORT
/chkconfig nfs on
/etc/init.d/nfs start
/etc/init.d/iptables stop
cd /etc
vi exports
/MQEXPORT *(rw,sync,no_wdelay,fsid=0)
showmount -e
clnt_create: RPC: Unknown host

This really isn't a problem with MQ but with your NFS mounts.
A google using
showmount -e RPC Unknown host
will shed some light on the subject.
However the MQ documentation does give some advice on mounting NFS shares and the mount params to use. _________________ WMQ User since 1999
