Hello,

We are facing some difficulties in our IBM Message Broker application and searching for their solutions.

Case 1: We have some applications in IBM Message Broker, where we have configured Data Source of different compute nodes. Also we have used different Trace Nodes and File Out Put Nodes with file paths.
Now, when we have to take our application from development environment to production environment then we have to change the Data Source name and physical paths for all nodes according to production environment.
Is there any mechanism/technique to centrally configure these settings?

Case 2:
Is there any mechanism to create a configuration file for IBM Message Broker application and access the configuration settings during run time. For example in .Net and Java applications we have config files where we declares our settings parameters.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Keep your data source name consistent over all environments. Just change the details in ODBC.ini.

Bar overrides (for the UDPs) are the usual way to customise other values (promote the property to the flow level).

For JDBC use configurable services (in general use CS as much as possible, e.g for SFTP/FTP in file nodes).
