Hi,
This is more of a network related query I guess, but I could not find any relevant solution for this and hence raising it here.
I have created a Web-service and hosted on Broker server. The service has to be exposed to the Salesforce Cloud. What is that I need to provide them as the URL for my service?
The URL I share is something like "http://<System_IP>:<Port>/URI" but I am sure this wont be the right URL to share to invoke from Cloud. What set-up needs to be done on network level and how should my URL be exposed?
There's almost certainly going to be at least one firewall between the Salesforce Cloud and your running production broker install.
And they may want you to do things like set up some kind of http proxy (the proxy servlet or an apache/IHS config) to route traffic to your broker HTTP endpoints.
