Hi there,

I am trying to use a 'Database' node in my message flow to interact with a database.

I have defined a Database Connection in my project and am trying to associate these with a 'Database' node in my message flow.

The only way that I can see to associate these two is to set the 'Data source' property for the 'Database' node to the same name as the Database Connection.

However, when I try and run the message flow, I get the following error message:

Code:
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Can anyone tell me what I have been doing wrong?

Thanks,

Seán

The Database Connection in your project is what your Toolkit is using to validate the Database code you're producing (column names and so forth; it's how it produces those yellow triangles when you spell something wrong.

This has nothing to do with the environment in which the flow is running, where you'll need to set up and ODBC for the flow to use by whatever method the OS that the flow's running in requires.
