came across an IBM presentation where the recommendation was to limit the number of shared variables in the order of tens of variables.

there was another ibm link that compares performance of a shared row with 9000 rows.

Is there really a recommendation on the number of shared variables?

trying to store variables that are used to enhance, route messages.
