Hi all,
We are getting the following warning in event viewer
Quote: |
( BRKDVESB01A.default ) File node ''gen/SendCarta_Request_Response.File Output'' in message flow ''gen.SendCarta_Request_Response'' has no value for the ''filename'' property.
The FileOutput node property is not set. In order to execute correctly this value must be supplied in the local environment of the message received by the node.
If this property is to be supplied in the Local Environment of each message processed there is no user action required. Otherwise specify a property value on the node and redeploy the flow. See the WebSphere Message Broker online documentation section "FileOutput node" for more information.
|
There is a flow deployed, called “csaSendCarta” , that uses a fileOutput Node.
The filename property of this node is not set in design time. The property is set to the right value in runtime throught ESQL.
The message flow is deployed in the environment but it’s not in use, however we keep getting the above warnings in event viewer.
Is this behavior by design ? should we expect to see the event viewer being flooded with this warnings ? is there any way to keep the event viewer “clean” from this warnings ?
The environment
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 bit
Message Broker 8.0.0.3
Best regards

Yes; it's a perfectly valid warning and is useful if you think the FileOutput node has a design time value.

No, your should expect to see this warning once each time you deploy the flow.

If it bugs you that much, add "dummy.txt" to the file name property at design time. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
