I am getting junk values for specific set of data from CICS program. This is the request being sent to CICS program through CICS Request node
05 614 2 INT BANK-NBR 00AF
05 616 15 CHAR XREF-TYP-CD 00
05 631 18 CHAR XREF-TYP-NM DEP_STATUS_CD
05 649 50 CHAR XREF-TYP-TXT
05 699 50 CHAR XREF-TYP-TXT-DISP
05 749 1 CHAR XREF-FLAG-INDIC
03 750 3 XREF-80-ADDITION-V
05 750 3 CHAR RGN-CD 000
Captured the request msg in RfhUtil in EBCDIC format. The Bank number here is 0175.Interestingly the request works for single digit vlaue of BANK-NBR .Tried with BANK-NBR 0 and it worked with junk values returned.Contacted the CICS back end developer, they informed that they are sending valid blank spaces which are Broker is returning as junk characters. Not sure what specific needs to be set at Broker end to get the issue resolved.

Sounds like just another CCSID problem to me...
Have you checked in RFHUtil that the hex values would be what you expect?

Does the message have an RFH header?
The same needs to be done for the reply message, before and after broker transform.
