Hi,
Is it possible to set up datasource name on Mapping Node (Integration Bus 9) ? I looked at publib doc and I see that it is possible for message broker 7, but Integration Bus 9 does not.
I would like to use mapping node to insert incoming message to db, but I need to have opportunity to set up datasource name dependent on environment. |

Ok, so if I understant,
In order to create dbm file using reverse engineering, I need to create JDBC connection in wizzard. I did it, I have Database Model.dbm file with DB2DEV connection configured via wizzard in Integration Developer. Now, I can create JDBC datasource DB2DEV on my aix broker that point to another database and this server configuration overrides my local configuration that I was created using Integration Developer ? |

Correct for designing and creation of the Graphical Data Mapping you connect your Integration Toolkit to a database instance to discover the DB schema, tables, columns and stored procedures. These are held in a database definition ".dbm".
When you come to deploy and run the map to a integration bus node you need to create a JDBC Configurable Service in that node with the same name as the data source used in the toolkit. This JDBC Configurable service can connect to the same, or a different database server that has the same database content.
Note that the JDBC Configurable Service also allows you to do things like override the database schema name that might well be different in your dev/test and production database servers. |
