HI,
I am moving some messages from one local to another local queue of same QMGR. but after succesful completion of ./qload comand, messages are still in source queue. i am using below ./qload command,
./qload QMGR -I SOURCEQUEUE -o DESTINATIONQUEUE
i also tried to move the messages using MQMON utility but same issue faced.
this is happening only for single queue, for other local queue's, i am able to move the messgaes.
please Help |

This seems very odd. Are you sure you haven't got something like an API crossing exit which is changing your GET into a BROWSE or something similar ?
When you issue the commands do the message turn up in the destination queue ? Are you sure that the messages are there and committed on the source queue and you are not jut going by queue depth ? Bear in mind that uncommitted messages will contribute the current depth.
Cheers,
Paul. _________________ Paul Clarke

Well, if you're certain that the messages a browsable then I have no idea what is going on. If you like you can send me an MQ trace and I will have a quick look at what is going on.
Start MQ trace.
Run the QLOAD program
End trace
Format the trace if required
To reduce the volume Just send me the trace for the QLOAD program itself - if it's big then by all means zip it first
Cheers,
Paul. _________________ Paul Clarke
