I am experiencing a problem with missing TAB file. In both Windows XP and 7.x using WMQ 7.5. I defined/created Client-Connection Channels (via Explorer and Command Line) and STILL no TAB file. Any ideas?
C:\IBM\WMQ\Qmgrs\TEST1\@ipcc
This is my MQ folder

I deleted the Qmgr and recreated it, a new TAB files was created. But when I add new CLNT-CONN channels, they are Not added. Only DEFUALT.CNTLCONN found. |

When you DEFINE/ALTER a CLNTCONN channel, are there any errors?
Is the AMQCLCHL.TAB file date/time stamp updated when you define or alter a CLNTCONN channel def? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

You know, if you define the environment variable MQCHLLIB and then run runmqsc, that will change the destination of the CCDT.
So, on a WMQ Server, don't define MQCHLLIB or MQCHLTAB globally or use runmqsc where you have defined them locally.
Too bad MQ Explorer does not let you maintain CCDTs independent of the Qmgrs... |

How did you add the CLNTCONN channels? Did it succeed without any errors? (Show the MQSC and output) _________________ Glenn |

Go get SupportPac MO72. One of its features is to create/edit CCDT files in stand-alone.

MO72 every time.
I also like the version feature of it to generate a CCDT at v6 level because I know that we still have v6 clients out there (unfortunately). _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it.
