I have workflow running under FMC,FMCSYS,FMCGRP configuration on AIX say "setup1". Now I have created another configuration FMC1,FMCSYS1,FMCGRP1 say "setup2". Now I want to to populate the FDL exporting from "setup1" into "setup2". The way I wanted to do is create a buildtime with FMC1,FMCSYS1,FMCGRP1, FMCBD1 and import FDL from "setup1" into buildtime FMC1. I have edited the FDL prior to it so that where ever FMCSYS,FMCGRP I have replaced with FMCSYS1,FMCGRP1 respectively. However I was getting an error saying line1: missing keword "codepage". I have noticed that wehn we export from runtime it puts comments saying when it is generated. Normally it should not cause errors.

My idea is to import into build time and then export it from build time into runtime of "setup2".

Can somebody suggest if I am doing any thing wrong?

You are probably removing the codepage comments when importing FDL in buildtime. Only replace your group and system in the FDL.

Also you can only export your process definitions, ds and Programs from runtime of FMC and import them into Buidtime of FMC1. that way you dont have to deal with changing group and system name unless you are specifying the fully qualified name for UPES (if any).

I wish I were wrong.
Here is the small part of the fdl from top
Code:
// ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Generated by MQSeries Workflow at 06/30/03 16:07:09
//   SystemGroup: FMCGRP  SystemName: FMCSYS
// ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
CODEPAGE 819
FM_RELEASE V3R3 2

When i changed all FMCGRP and FMCSYS to FMCGRP1 and FMCSYS1, istill get the CODE page error. Remeber this FDL is from AIX. I have no problem in importing the FDL into setup1 as both build time and runtime are from the same configuration FMCSYS,FMCGRP.
Now I have exported the FDL from build time of setup1 into build time of setup2, it worked fine. Does this mean I can not import FDL from runtine of setup1 inot build time of setup2(even after editing configuration parms)

Not sure if it works, but change the CODEPAGE to 1252 instead of 819 and try again.
