Dear All,
I just created a cluster in my environment, with both channels connecting, listener ok, but one of the queue managers is with:
SYSTEM.TEMPQMGR
What it could be ? |

A fault in your cluster where one of the queue manager names can't be resolved.
Your channels are not doing as well as you think they are. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

If you've not changed anything it would. These things are seldom fixed by the Cluster Fairy (a distant relative of the Tooth Fairy with deeper technical skills but a poor work ethic).
So after reviewing your set up and the link provided by my worthy associate what did you determine? What actions did you take? What changes have you made?
We don't know anything about your situation that you don't tell us _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I´m really sorry.
Node one:
server: asbrokerprofap02
queue manager: fapes_mq
display clusqmgr(*)
1 : display clusqmgr(*)
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(SYSTEM.TEMPQMGR.desfap01.fapes-sede.com.br(1414))
CHANNEL(emi.fapes_mq) CLUSTER(fapes)
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(fapes_mq) CHANNEL(rece.fapes_mq)
CLUSTER(fapes)
Node two:
server: asbrokerdesfap01
queue manager: fapes_mq
display clusqmgr(*)
1 : display clusqmgr(*)
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(SYSTEM.TEMPQMGR.profap02.fapes-sede.com.br(1414))
CHANNEL(rece.fapes_mq) CLUSTER(fapes)
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(fapes_mq) CHANNEL(emi.fapes_mq)
CLUSTER(fapes)
1. Both has the same QM name
2. Both has the same queue´s names
3. Both listeners are running on port 1414
4. Channels are communicating, and without the local address, only cluster parameters and connection name to the hostname and port (1414) |

If you have 2 queue managers with the same name in the same cluster that's a really, really bad idea & I'd be interested to know how you decided it wasn't. Even if it's not the cause of this problem it'll be the cause of others.
I repeat my comments on your previous posts about thinking about what you need, what you're doing and not just setting stuff up & fiddling with it until it seems to work. You especially seem very confused about what a WMQ cluster is, how it works, what it's supposed to achieve and what it doesn't ever achieve (like HA). _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I need to make a load balance backend.

For proper load balancing using MQ clustering you need at least 3 queue managers, 2 on the back end (consumer apps), and 1 on the front end (producer app).
DO NOT use queue managers with the same name, especially in MQ clusters. Please delete your queue managers and start again.

The MQ Info Centre has a god section on Gateway Queue Managers, with various helpful diagrams. |

I guess you can load balance with just 2 queue managers as of MQ 7 if CLWLUSEQ is set to ANY. _________________ Peter Potkay

Why do you think you need one? In the "what's the requirement" sense?
