Hi All,

I have a requirement where Broker needs to provide sub-second response for a Web Service consumer as user is waiting on the Web based form. Broker needs to get the data required for the call from cloud based service provider. Since cloud based call can add more time to service the request, I thought we can use Cache in Broker. The Broker will always service the request from Cache and will only go to the cloud based service provider if it can not find the data in cache. We are on Broker V7. I looked at support pack IA91 for cache nodes and it might work. I am sure upgrading to V8 or v9 will give more options. But are there any other options to do that in V7?

You have three options:

A. Upgrade to WMB V8 or WMB V9.

B. Buy eXtremeScale.

C. Use a Java Singleton-pattern as your cache.


Strongly recommend do not use IA91.
