Is mq client v7.0.1.3 on Windows is compatible with mq server v7.0.1.9 on AIX
Please help me ! its urgent ... thanks in advance my dear folks |

Do you really think that IBM would ship a product billed as being a platform independent transfer medium, that would not be compatible? Did you even search the web, or this site, for any information before posting?  _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Well, if you open a PMR on this, they will ask you to apply maintenance to both ends... But yes it is supported and that is the point.
You might have hit a defect that requires maintenance but you haven't said enough for us to know that and it would be quicker for you to open a PMR and do the "Must Gather" for both MQ Client and server.
What makes you think they are not compatible?
I've seen all kinds of way out of date and mismatched versions/editions of MQ server and client work fine (not to say it is what you should do). |
