Hi All
Has anyone been able to SFTP using the FileOutput Node via a Proxy server.
I've seen the documentation about FTP but cannot find any information about SFTP.
I've asked IBM and they have suggested I put the question out to the forum!!!
WMB V8.0.0.1 on linux

As it was mentioned in the Infocenter, there is no generic way for setting the proxy ("How you configure the File nodes to use an FTP proxy depends on how that proxy handles requests."). As I know, proxy handling is not implemented in the FileInput, etc. nodes.
If you could send what kind of proxy works there, it would be helpful. Or perhaps, you can use SSH tunneling as a workaround. |

We have the similar problem , not able to SFTP using FileOutput node via SQUID web Proxy to destination File server.
Trying Proxy/SSH tunneling using SSH /Config but was not sure how to configure WMB (broker) to read the SSH Config. Where do we specific in the broker to read SSH config information? Appreciate if any information can anyone give on this issue... |

Broker uses JSCH (Java Secure Channel) implementation for SFTP connections, so your OpenSSH settings are not relevant.
If you would like to investigate what is happening in an SSH session, you can switch on the tracing - more information in my earlier post:
