Dear All,
As per the documentation,
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r1m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.etools.mft.doc%2Fac37125_.htm
Code:
The broker uses the following search path to find JavaCompute node classes:

1)The deployed JAR file
2)<WorkPath>/shared-classes/ to locate any JAR files
3)The CLASSPATH environment variable

As per my flow, the deployed jar file contains the list of Jar files, classes that I had refered.
And I had given the list of jar files that I am using for the flow and list of classes folder (in a zip format) in shared-classes location.
So, is it still really required to set the CLASSPATH for the jar files?? above mentioned two places in not enough for the broker??
Because, currently I am getting the error as NoClassDefFounderror at run time.

Product Details:
Code:
BIP8996I: Version:    7004
BIP8997I: Product:    WebSphere Message Broker
BIP8998I: CMVC Level: S700-FP04
BIP8999I: Build Type: Production, 64 bit, rios_aix_4

Could any one please help me on this...

You're referencing 6.1 info center and running 7.0.0.4.

This might help: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27019658

You don't need to modify classpath. You *shoudln't* change classpath.

If you change shared-classes, you need to restart broker.

If you create a JavaClassloader configurable service, you need to restart Broker.

If you have all of your jar files inside your bar file, you don't need to do any of the above, but the BAR file will likely be big, and all of the classes in it will be reloaded every time you redeploy.

Did you ever take the training? All this stuff your asking help for is covered in the WMB admin course.

It would make life alot easier for you if you did.

As the user has been on this forum for close to 3 years I don't think the training that they may or may not have received is relevant.

There are lots of 'stuff' in broker that I never use. It might have been covered in a training course but the last one I went on was for V5.

If I was trying to do the same job at the OP, I'd be scratching my head, just like I am now trying to figure out why SLES is working differently from RHEL when it comes to broker setup. I haven't do that for more than a year so I'm a bit rusty and yes I may return with a post about a particular issue I've found.

I guess I'd better raid the piggy bank and book a training course right now because I'm obviously inexperienced in this magical tool called broker.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

@smdavies

It's relevant if he doesn't have the skills you have. He seems to be lost.

I would be lost if I tried to configure a PeopleSoft or SAP adapter.

Even with the samples.

Does that mean I shouldn't ask for help here?

The forum is open to anyone.

People tend to post here first and read the InfoCentre second. The InfoCentre and the training are fairly clear as to how to share jar files via configurable service. Once someone reads how to configure PeopleSoft or SAP, and follows the step-by-steps in the samples, its not that hard.

The OP has triple posted this question in the forum, in spite of all the other forums posts and InfoCentre articles that talk about shared-classes and configurable classloaders. Which is why I suggested an instructor-led venue, since it seems that the assistance rendered on a written basis (forum/InfoCentre) is not getting the results desired.

If we knew the native language, we could blue line a native explanation. Maybe the English is difficult for some posters.

IBM produces and supports a world-class product. Extensive testing goes into each release. The license fee for IBM products is very expensive; but the value delivered to the customer is far greater than the license fee paid. Just look at the market shared pwn'd by IBM in the middleware space. No other competitor even comes close.

With this world-class product, the OP can rest assured that the product works as designed and documented. Therefore, following the documentation is the best course of action to resolving this issue. If the documentation seems unclear, the OP should submit feedback for additional modification to the documentation for added clarity.

Thanks Mr.Lancelotnic sir,
Hope I deserve this by posting the question here on this forum..

When you say, this forum is open to anyone.. that means anybody can post their questions or clarifications regarding the product here...
And I never seen u given any solution on any issue except about 9 days training...

May be the questions posted by me or some of the people looks like u silly or very easy... But u shouldn't expect the same from everyone... evrybody can't do anything... that doesn't mean they are lost...

If you come to the point, my question what I ask here is very straight forward and mqjeff already replied on that very clearly and I was clear...

Its too bad you don't want to go (to training). I learned alot when I went. And you meet alot of nice people with whom you can network over the coming years.

If you change your mind and come to Raleigh, we can have dinner at http://www.42ndstoysterbar.com/ . I'd offer to buy dinner, but since you'd be on an expense account...

I didn't say that I don't want to go for training.. Learning is a continuous process. So, I never feel shy to know about the things which I don't know..
I am sorry, if I was .... Thanks for your Invitation.. I love seafood.. will surely come
