As I go over the suggestions I still do not see where anything has changed in V7 or V8 that actually help me solve this seemingly simple problem. All solutions seem to focus on back up the table or save it in cache.
So. tell me what in V7 or V8 will help clear out orphaned files in mqsitransit?
and I'll build a case to upgrade. |

The code has been fixed such that the file from the mqsitransit folder is removed when an exception occurs while writing the file |

Yes, I saw that last week when I was starting on this. As I read it, that fixes an error when the file output node is writing the file, not when the compute node upstream throws an exception in the flow. Can you tell me how I double check that I don't have this APAR applied?
I honestly appreciate the fact that this is an active forum and there are people here trying to help out. |

Your welcome. To be sure , the only good way I know to see if I have what I need is to open a PMR. I would phrase the PMR such that I have applied the fix pack 6.1.0.5 and still see this behavior malfunction. Let the PMR people guide you to the right APAR fix. There may already be one you can apply to fix your situation. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

And there is the rub. I cannot submit PMRs. My company will not pay for me to be able to submit a PMR. |

What OS are you running the runtime on? Try downloading the 6.1.0.11 patch and see if the mqsitransit problem changes, _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
