So the possibility exists that the OAM or the security module in the OS is losing it's connection to the LDAP user source, and handling this badly.

The refresh security then causes MQ to request a new connection through the OS, which then is good for a while until the connection fails again.

So you might see if you can investigate that kind of thing - particularly look on the LDAP server and see if you can find connection issues from this box.

Apply FixPack 7.1.0.1 and see if that clears the problem; if not, open a PMR.

Well,

we have moved the qmgrs to a new vmware cluster and the issue is resolved.
Like suggested the cause was not MQ related.
