Hi Team,
Application is sending response automatically for request queues, but those messages are getting stuck at Cluster transmit queue at sender end.
When i am posting a sample text message from /opt/mqm/samp/bin the messages stuck in System cluster transmit queue are going then.
Is there any thing i need to look in? |

Are those messages being committed? Is the destination for the messages available? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Yes Destination is available..
Destination queue is cluster alias queue which at QM3
Cluster alias queue's target queue is local queue at QM3
Cluster alias queue is visible from sender Queue Managers QM1 and QM2 both are on different servers.
Response is going from QM2 but not from QM1. Messages are getting stuck in S.C.T.Q at QM1, but when i post sample text message from QM1 all are getting processed
I observed one thing local queue at QM3 defbind is OPEN is this causing the issue, if yes why messages are coming from QM2? |

Have you:
1. Checked queue depth at the target queue manager?
2. Checked channels between the sending/receiving queue managers?
3. Checked logs in both queue managers for any indications of errors or faults? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

1. Checked queue depth at the target queue manager?
Yes, Only QM2 messages are coming
2. Checked channels between the sending/receiving queue managers?
Cluster Channel (CLUS.QM3.CHL)is running from QM2 to QM3, but same channel status is inactive in QM1. I fired below command to get the above output
dis clusqmgr(*) cluster(CLUS) conname qmtype deftype status
3. Checked logs in both queue managers for any indications of errors or faults?
yes, didn't find much about on this |

Seems to me you've identified the problem, now find the cause... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

As i said earlier.. messsages are getting stuck in SCTQ queue, when i post sample text message by using amqsput then responces are going to QM3.
I could see CLUSTER channel to QM3 is keeping the messages in SCTQ untill i post sample messages. Is there anything i need to check |

You did not answer the question that asked if the messages were committed. |

Mixed case is never a good idea:
Quote: |
ONVPMFT2.LSK701t5.C1 |
And to which queue managers do the displays relates, i.e. LX.QM.LSK701t5 relates to the QM1, QM2, or QM3 of your original post? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Was that output from the offending qmgr or from the FR?
Is the offending qmgr even included in that output?
Is the output any different if you omit the cluster name in terms of what you think are participating qmgrs in the cluster? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

QM1,2 and 3 i have given as examples. As per above post
Target queue is at LX.QM.LSK701t6 and sending the messages from 180.188.57.70 and 180.188.57.18 where messages are getting stuck at 180.188.57.18 in SCTQ. |
