Question for the experts,
I am using FileInput and FileOutput Nodes in a message flow. Can anyone tell me if there is a restriction when the source and/or destination folders on AIX are dynamic linked folder locations and do not actually reside on the local box ? Or are there may be special requirements to access these linked folder locations? As it stands right now the flow works fine when these folders are on the local box but when the only thing changed is the folder in the source folder for the FileInput Node it simply does not work. Looking at the logs does not appear to provide any answers either, so if anyone has seen this or similar behavior please share, Thank you much.

What exactly, in technical terms, do you mean here? Do you mean symlinked, do you mean folders mounted via NFS, what?

Does not work in the sense the file sits unprocessed, does not work in the sense the file is backed out, does not work in the sense a monkey eats your keyboard, what?

What does looking at a user trace provide?

It sits unprocessed on a symlinked folder. monkey did not eat the keyboard. But to cut out all the BS it appears it was just an issue of missing permissions for the broker's user ID.

As always thanks for the expert advice.

I do love a problem with a clear & simple solution. That doesn't involve shooting simians.
