Two categories of processes attach themselves to a transmission queue.
One category is the Sender channel's message channel agent (MCA); the other category is applications that are putting messages to the transmission queue.
As stated in an earlier post, if NO applications currently have the xmitq open for output, AND the channel is not active, then there will be no processes attached to the xmitq.
If there are applications putting messages, or the channel is active, then DIS QSTATUS(xmitqname) HANDLES will provide you with a list of processes attached to the xmitq. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
