Thanks.

I'd suggest starting with the sample test and reviewing the list of recommended resources:

http://www-1.ibm.com/certify/certs/mqcdmqs.shtml

I'd also guess that they are coming out with a new version of this test since they've done the same with 095 (now 295) and 096 (now 296).

Hi,

Is there a study guide anywhere that deals with the 095/295 exam ? If not, has anyone put together a study aid anywhere ? Thanks in advance.

I know that there isn't an official study guide. I'm not sure if somebody has put together an unofficial one.

That's a pity. I'm studying for the Sun Certified Java Programmer exam and there are plenty of guides for that.

Hi , I too would like to go for exam 295. But there are many PDF files for this certification. Also its bit confusing to select the PDF that are available in IBM site. Could any one recommend the needed PDF for this exam.

Many Thanx

I'm not sure that one PDF can be recommended. However, if you can only look at one, I'd try the System Admin manual since the certification is for System Administration.

However, I believe that your best bet will be to take the sample test, see what areas you are weak in, and concentrate on studying for them.

If you are a J2EE (JMS) developer, I wouldn't say that any of the MQ exams are appropriate. However, if you are using MQ's JMS, then you should have some familiarity with having to install/configure MQ in order to use the JMS. I would think that the Admin test would be the easiest one. The developer test would be more concerned with MQ specific things.
