I have a question about the channel message logger,
AIX 5.2
MQseries 6.0.2.8 CMVC level: p600-208-090930
Using MQ clustering
Trying to config on a CLUSRCVR channel
Using the MSGEXIT and MSGDATA fields
MSGEXIT('wmqcml64.so(wmqcml)') MSGDATA('PF=wmqcml.pf.active;PO=0')
wmqcml.pf.active file contains (on one line)
TO.LNKD01:LF=wmqcml-#QM-#C-#N.log;LC=3;LS=10;CL=32;SD=256;UC=C;LO=2,4-7;CF=RQN=EDS*;CF=CONN=*
when i configure this logger exit, the channel will not come up, no entry in the qmgr error log...
Do you have a suggestion as to what i am doing wrong? The doc says AIX 5.3 is supported and earlier versions MAY be supported.
I'm wondering if the version of AIX is the problem?
Thanks |

This is hardly news, or an update. Please take more care as to which forum you're posting in, thank you.
Moving this to a more relevant forum. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

..the channel will not come up.. |
What evidence do you see to suggest that?
If you configure a channel exit on a CLUSRCVR channel, the channel definition can be cloned to automatically define CLUSSDR channels on other queue managers in the cluster. Unless you have an appropriate CHAD exit, the channel exit will need to be installed and configured in the same manner on the other servers which host these queue managers!
