I created a flow in Toolkit. Started MQ Explorer to create a Queue Manager n broker.
Got an error when tried creating a Queue Managar:

So, being new, you need to spend some time learning how to perform standard troubleshooting steps.
You haven't mentioned that you have done more than just look at the error messages.
The most likely cause of your issue is that you did not put your user in the mqm group and then restart your computer. |

hmmm .. how do i do that ?
I mean pur user in mqm group ?
I need to read a lot more i know. But I need toget my application up and running byt tonight. Need to do an presentation tommorow  |

You put a user in the mqm group in the same way you put any other user in any other group.
If you are at this point today, you are not qualified to give a presentation tomorrow.
But best of luck anyway. |

I am in the administrator login. I tried running the app as administrator but it still gives the same error.
@jeff ... i know where i stant ryt now buddy. But thats not wot i m here to learn.
telling me to put a user in group just lyk u put any odr user in any odr group isnt exactly helpfull. I still have no clue as to wot u mean. no disrespect ... Butsomeone with good knowledge should be able to explain a bit btr dan dat .. dnt u think ! |

How do I do that?
I dont see any option asking for any user name .. |

Adding a user to a group (including the mqm group) is an o/s-level administrative task - unrelated to WMQ administration.
Seek help from a trained o/s system administrator. Or, search google for 'how to add a user to a group'. As you might expect, this is done differently on Windows and UNIX.

I gather that you are new to both WMQ- and o/s-level system administration.
I'd caution you against making any presentation where you are unsure of the (WMQ) product capabilities.

Being logged in as the administrator doesn't make you a system administrator. This is quite evident by your asking how to manage users and groups.
Did you research google for how to add a user to a group?

Rahul are you sure you can handle WMQ when you are not aware of some basic concecpt that MQM is the group of MQ administration and to perform MQ related tasks your user needs to be a part of.
well as far as it goes to add a user a group as your system administrator to do that for you. and please work on your basic understanding of MQ workflow. MQ broker is quiet complicated in comparison of basic MQ concepts. |

Hi Rahul
Some times this guys like to answer laconicly .
They are talking about you must include the user at the operating system's groups that MQ Broker installer created for you ( mqm I thik).
This is an administrator task, If you are acting like one, so you must use Windows Control Panel, or if it is Unix or Linux, the proper command or Graphic tool for doing this.
