Hi,
I did a JAVA custom plug-in in MQSI2.1. It works fine except when I try to process big messages. I got an OutOfMemory Exception.
I look for the way to configure the JVM parameters (maximum heap size): nothing in control center or in pdf documentations.
What is the defaut JVM heap size for the MQSI broker ?
Is it possible to increase it like any JVM ?

As I have encountered the same problem, I would be keen to hear if you found a solution, or an answer to your question. |

Following thread explains how to set MaxJVMHeapSize for ConfigMgr.

I think you can follow similar steps to increase JVMHeapSize for the broker also. I have not tried this though, so I am not sure whether or not it will work. _________________ Kiran

Thanks for the replies so far...
I've tried setting the MaxJVMHeapSize using 'mqsichangeconfigmgr -j' but it does not seem to impact the broker JVM settings, as the problem persists. The documentation is rather vague on JVM settings. In the Programming Guide it says
that the default WMQI JVM initialialization parameters might not be suitable for the plug-in, but no more....
My question is: Can these be changed? |

I guess, you should be able to add this parameter for the broker in the registry. _________________ Kiran
