Hello - Today one of our windows box was rebooted due to CPU starvation errors. After that MQ Came up clean and when we logged in with our id (which is part of mqm) we could able see all the processes.
The problem here is one of user from applicaiton team he is able to lauch MQ explorer but for him connection staus for QM is Disconnected and no queues and channels are visible which we are able to see using id which is part if MQM group.
I'm suspecting could be he don't have sufficient access, but same user was able to see all processes using MQ explorer before server reboot. Can any one let me know what would have happened ?
Thanks |

From the Explorer, try to connect.
If the Explorer fails to connect to the qmgr, look in the errors folders on the client platform and on server platform to see why the Explorer didn't connect. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I could not catch hold of user. I will try that.
However is there any access issue which is causing this behaviour ?
Thanks |

Yes, something changed.
Look at the mq error logs after reboot. What error was logged? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

There is nothing recorded in logs. When the user tries to connect to queue manager using explorer , he is receving "An Unexpected error (2495) has occured. (AMQ4999).
Same user using command prompt he can able to see all the definitions and browse thru Queue Manager.
Thanks |

Then, where did you see the "Unexpected error (2495)" error?
An FDC created on the client or server? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
