Hey guys!
Where, exactly, are the flows source files? Can I recover this files? I created .bar with source.
My problem is that I lost all my toolkit with projects and .bar... and I need the flow that I have running in the Broker machine. |

If by that you mean you ticked the optional box to include the source in the bar file, then unsurprisingly the source is in the bar file.

There is a simple solution; restore the Toolkit from your most recent backup. Or recover the projects from your source code repository.

Thank you, Vitor, for your reply.
Yes, I checked the optional ticked to include the source, but I don´t have the bar. Is it in some place on the broker machine? Where?
I lost my laptop before doing any backup. I only have the flows running in a Broker.
I found the message set in /var/mqsi/components/BROKER_NAME/5b900399-3201-0000-0080-e13fcf1b538f/config/XSD
and the jar in
/var/mqsi/components/BROKER_NAME/5b900399-3201-0000-0080-e13fcf1b538f/config/JAR --- my jar
But I can´t find tha bar or flow.

So you don't have any form of backup of your work?
Nothing saved to a USB stick?
nothing saved to a file share somewhere?
Nothing is Source Control?
Sigh.
Oh well, most of us here have been in a similar position at least once in our careers. This may well turn out to have been a valuable lesson for you in the future.
If you look at the options in mqsireportproperties you can get broker to output the running ESQL. Then you only need to code the flow again.

If you have failed to do the professional things to ensure that you can continue to develop and maintain your code that you are attempting to deploy...
Then you need to stand up and admit to yourself that you have made a big mistake.
Then you need to make efforts to *learn* from your mistake.
Then you need to recode things from scratch, and while doing so make sure to do the professional things to ensure that you can continue to develop and maintain your code. |

You can retrieve a dump of the message flows with the mqsireportproperties command, it gives the flow layout and ESQL in a 'mangled' form. But, you can easily work out the flow layout and copy in the ESQL from the file produced. Not a trivial exercise, but better than telling the boss that you're incompetent and need to re-code everything! |
