Could anyone please tell me that how would it be possible to call a remote application program located out side of the Mainfram from within a CICS application program. |

You want to make an RPC call to an application on a different server?
It might hurt less to have your CICS app send a WMQ request message out to the application in question and then read a reply. Rather a more standard method I think.
And the solution to this post of yours, but the other way round. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Couldn't it be done through an APPC call? |

Try it and see. If it works, yes. If it doesn't, try reposting on a CICS forum. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Yes.
Another method would be to make use a multi-platform job scheduler (like IBM's Tivoli). _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
