Hi,
Here is the scenario I have. My ID on unix is not part of mqm group. So I cannot use runmqsc. Now my questions is, Is there any comman I can use to check the channels under a QueueManager. I am using MQ5.1 on HP unix.
thanks _________________ Keka |

You can check if the channel process are running... a simple ps -ef command will show you.

Right but if these are server connection channels or receiver channels, unless they are running you cannot check it right..My intention is to find a way to check if the channels are created from the developer's point of view.. _________________ Keka |

ps -ef |grep runmqchl will return you if the channels are running and their names. By the name convention (SenderQM.ReceiverQM) you know the direction of the channels. _________________ Warm Regards,
