Hey Guys,

Could you let me know the easiest way to find out users who has a permission to connect to QM.

Will it be achieveable viq amqoamd or dspmqaut command or do we need to right a script or program.

Read your documentation which should include it?

Thanks for reply Jed..

# dspmqaut -m QMname -t object -n objname +g group +p principal
# amqoand -m QMname -t object -n objectname -s > file.txt

In above commands I should know users name. My concern is I just need a list of user who has an authority to connect with QM.

I need it on urgent basis, if you know the solution please do share with me.

Thanks in advance.

Try dmpmqaut. You don't need to specify a principal or group name.

Please give us an example of the command you typed, which did not tell you the information you wanted.

And by 'Doesn't work out' you mean what?

I suppose that dmpmqaut or dspmqaut output would look pretty empty if all of your users are in mqm group.

You should be using group based access control. You need to list the members of the groups as well as any users named in the ACL. On Unix any user in the ACL will permit all members of their primary group.

dmpmqaut gives you loads of output, even then.

I am guessing the OP had some problem running the command, if it did not give them what they needed.
