I have a scenario where i get messages from soap input node and MQInput node. I have a fixed header and dynamic payload. How do i parse both the messages and send to publication node in message broker 7.0

Write a message flow with the parsing options set as approriate, some nodes in the middle and a publication node at the end.

If you have a more specific question than "how do I use broker", please clarify, ideally with examples of where you're stuck.

And don't double post - it's considered rude!

If I have a compute node what is the header structure if i have to send the soap node input message and a MQ input node message.

If exists(SOAP[]) then

what should be publication header structure

if exists (InputRoot.MQMD[]

what should be publication header structure

The "publication header structure" will be documented in the Information Center.

What portions of the message you need to access to make your decisions as to how to population the "publication header structure" are entirely dependent on your individual business requirements, and we have absolutely no way of helping you meet those.

You appear to be tasked with a relatively straight forward message flow without having received proper training or mentoring, or having done sufficient self-learning.

This forum is not a resource for training, it is a resource for busy professionals.

In both cases it's the structure required for the publication, as documented. It doesn't matter if the publication is the result of a SOAP message, a WMQ message or a file being read.

I echo the comments of my most worthy associate regarding training, and our inability to offer realistic assistance with which parts of what header are relevant to your specific requirement.

I agree with mqjeff. Many people are under the mis-perception that WebSphere Message Broker can be a skill that is acquired over time without mentorship or training.

For example, freshers just out of school can sit for a summer learning Java and be fairly competent in their Java skills with the right direction from a good coach or mentor.

WebSphere Message Broker is significantly more intricate in the skills and knowledge needed to successfully implement functionality over and above what a Message Driven Bean would do (for instance).

IBM recognizes this, and if you ask your IBM account representative, she can provide WMB-qualified developers on your site to write WMB flows. If your boss does not want to pay the consulting fees that the IBM developers charge, then perhaps you could ask your boss to send you to training so you could learn the intricate details of WMB.

WM663 class is the first one you want to take. It costs US$3,125. The course lasts 5 days and the instructor will tell you about service oriented architecture, and how WebSphere Message Broker fits into the IBM SOA strategy.

Students then explore how to construct message flows that use ESQL, Java, and XSL transform (XSLT), and how to use databases and maps in message flows. They also learn how to implement application connectivity by using WebSphere Message Broker to create message flows that use Web services, Java messaging services (JMS), and WebSphere MQ message transport mechanisms.

After completing this training, students should be able to:

Describe the core product family and architecture
Describe the basic WebSphere MQ application programming concepts
Work with the Message Brokers Toolkit
Develop and test message flows
Use problem determination tools
Define and use message formats
Transform messages with ESQL, Java and Maps
Explain the function of most popular processing nodes
Describe Message Broker’s role as ESB in SOA
List options to extend Message Broker’s functionality

If you cannot accomplish the above objectives today, then you are not qualified to work on WMB.
