Hi,
We have created configurable service for SAPRequest node for different Env DEV, QA etc.
Issue is when we deploy the message flow containing SAPRequest node. The SAPRequest node still takes the value of DEV. Since the outadapter file selected for creating QA bar is having DEV connection details.
We were thinking that since we have configurable service in QA env. The outadapter properties will be overridden.
We have also reloaded the E.G after creating SAP config service.
Please suggest if we are missing anything.
Thanks! |

You should have the same pattern in Dev. Set the current values to something else. Then override them in Dev.
Once you work through that issue, then QA env will work. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

It is not enough to simply create a configurable service. You must then also take steps to associate that service with a given node in a given message flow.
You can, as lancelotlinc suggests, create a configurable service in DEV.
Or you can investigate whether this is an area where you can use mqsiapplybaroverride. |

My general rule with SAP Adapters is
- configure them for DEV - Well you have to do the discovery somewhere...
- Create a Configurable service in DEV and do all your dev work using it.
- Create Config services in all other environments with the right params
And don't forget to run mqsidetdbparms as well.
Once you get a set of params for a config service in an environment (Login group, System Number etc) it is easy to clone them for other adapters. _________________ WMQ User since 1999
