Hi all,

I am trying to put a message into MQ queue with RFH2 header. I am using a jmsQueue(logical queue in Websphere Application Server) to push the message from an MDB deployed in WAS.

My problem here is , whenever i add any property , it comes in <usr> folder in the header. But I need the property to be under the <psc> folder.

I need a the following content to be in my RFH2 ,
<psc><Command>Publish</Command><Topic>TopicString</Topic>

Am i missing something here . . . Please advice !!!

Firstly, be aware my Java is not strong so view my comments in that light.

Secondly, what you're trying to add is not a property but a publication command. So I would have expected that rather than adding a user property (which will be carried in <usr>) you need to identify to WAS that your message payload is in fact a publication associated with a topic of TopicString.

How you do that? You need a better Java person than me. With luck, you are that Java person.....

This sounds like you are trying to use Point to Point JMS (sending to a queue), when you should be using Pub/Sub (publishing to a topic).

Review your JNDI objects and lookup the relevant methods and examples.
The sun JMS tutorial is a good one...

Have fun

You could look at using MQ JMS to publish message?
